In order to support tech professionals optimally, technological expertise is also important. The most effective People Leads often emerge from former tech professionals. Some People Leads have disciplinary responsibility for their staff, while others do not. The number of staff to be managed varies according to the company and organizational structure, ranging from 3 to 15 individuals.
